The Pig Up & Go Story

Pig Up & Go was founded by Chris and Nancy Griffith with the goal to provide a taste of traditional BBQ to Mexico, Missouri.

In September of 2020, Jayne and Todd Yager took on that mantle when they purchased Pig Up & Go from the Griffith family. The owners are different, but the main goal has remained the same: to serve up some fabulous BBQ!

In January of 2021, the Yagers decided they wanted to take Pig Up & Go to the next level & to expand. To accomplish this, they believed they needed to grow their operations team. With this goal in mind, they brought on the help of Amanda Sells & even more all-star staff members.

With an expanded menu which still shines light on the original favorites such as the Stuffed Spud, bonafide Pulled Pork & Brisket Sandwiches, & Baby Back Ribs-just to name a few-the all-star crew is continuing to raise the bar for BBQ.

Pig Up & Go isn’t stopping at new menu items, new services, & expansion! We continue to offer catering & hope to build on our creativity & services at your special events.
